Windows 7 (codenamed Blackcomb and Vienna) is the latest version of Microsoft Windows and is set to be released on October 22, 2009. According to Microsoft, the new operating system includes the following enhancements:

• Improved power saving features
• Greater power and performance
• Easier wireless networking
• Advanced computer search functionality
